My Animation Idea

Incorporating stop motion animation techniques, I will be creating my own short animation. The models I will use will be made out of plasticine as it is extremely malleable and the narrative of my animation involves the merging of two models. The animation will pay subtle homage to simple horror films from the 50s, with the antagonistic 'blob' having a menacing look, reminiscent of Yeaworth's 'The Blob' (1958).
For sound, I will have a non-diegetic track very typical of a '50s sic-fi horror flick, to add to the theme. Similar with the title card, which will have a font similar to the kinds of posters you would find of similar films.

                                  

                                    
The narrative is simple, with one blob becoming consumed by another, antagonistic blob. This is both not overcomplicate the animation and, again, to throwback to the simpler plots of these films with the story of people running from an unstoppable force.
